Should I Eat Before My Cardio Workout?

I would suggest that you stop all food intake at least 1-2 hours before performing your cardio workout. If you are planning on waking up and doing your cardio, maybe have a few bites of fruit, or consume an energy drink to have something on your stomach. Understand if you choose to put in anything, then you really need to go the full duration of required cardio time. Your required daily cardio time is 45-60 minutes. I have noticed that I needed to increase the 30-45 minute original planned time to really allow for optimum fat burn.

Within the first 20 minutes of exercise, your body is burning all of its stored muscle sugar, glycogen, for fuel. From minute 21 on, you will be in fat burn mode. Your liver will be sending out hormones that will cause your fat cells to release energy into the blood stream for fuel. So the point of this article is that you want to spend as MUCH time as you can in this fat burning, rather than muscle sugar burning zone, understand? So eating before cardio makes your workout not as effective as it could be. There are more details to add to this, like “How long should I wait AFTER finishing cardio before eating?” and “What should that meal contain?”
Add me on facebook: “ahmad baari” and I will explain the last few details.

Why You Need More H20. The Reason to Drink Water.

A survey from the Cornel Medical Center states that 75 percent of Americans are “chronically dehydrated.” Most people consume a little over one liter of water, proven from a seven year study conducted by the N.I.H. (National Institutes of Health). The scary thing is this amount is just about half of what we should be intaking daily.

Linked to reduced water intake are the following:

1. Slower metabolism
2. Fatigue
3. Loss of Concentration

I know personally if I experienced this daily, there would be no makingthebest.com workout clips. I would not have the energy to workout. If you correct your daily hydration, I guarantee, your fitness plan will be easier from this day forth.

What I would suggest is to just buy a Brita $20 water filter basic pitcher. Brita 42412 Atlantis Water Pitcher

Take some of the water to work with you in a water bottle. Your goal is to hydrate at the major transistion points of your day:

1. When you wake.
2. Leaving the house.
3. Before and after each meal.
4. Leaving work
5. Before bed.

You can add a little punch to your water by adding fruit(ie. lemon, lime, orange slices, or fresh herbs(ie. mint).

The true secret is to treat your water like a zero calorie cocktail. Use any of the sugar-free syrups from Torani. Torani Sugar-Free Syrup, Raspberry, 25.4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3)

Do You Need to Really Take a Protein Powder to Build Muscle?

Protein supplements work best by complementing your diet. I understand how hard it might be to avoid the fast foods or non-fresh foods. If the majority of your diet is like this, then we first need to begin adding healthy supplements to counter balance any harm being done…before we make healthy eating a great habit. It is all about making subtle changes that are not to shocking to make your body rebel.

Supplements help you replace any nutrients that you may be deficient in. These key nutrients need to be taken in the right balanced, based on what you need. What are you deficient in?

Well most don’t realize how increasing their daily protein intake can improve the speed of their metabolism. Digestion of a protein in your system requires the most energy of all macronutrients. This means just by eating more protein, you will force your body to speed up its fat burning ability. It will have to kick into high gear to burn the increase of protein. Once this happens, your fat burning furnace will be on. You can turn on your switch today by consuming daily one to two protein smoothies. I suggest using these two snacks as a time to get in a high amount of your fibrous carbs(fruits).

Here is the most important tool I use to make my protein smoothies:

1. The Best Blender:
Sensio 13330 Bella Cucina 12-Piece Rocket Blender Platinum Edition

In the ebook I share details on other great foods and supplements to intake to reach your goal of optimum health.

Hope the above helps,
ahmad

Have You Taken Your Before Stats?

written by ahmad

You need to take some sort of measurement,

and from that day forth work to improve the measure. I am planning on improving flexibility, endurance, and lean muscle mass. It will require me to know what I am starting with. How I plan to take stats is by simply performing the activities I wish to work on, and recording how I do. Every day my goal is to do something to improve these results. Each day I will do just a little more. Every week or so, record your progress. Constantly try to improve.

Try this to improve your results with the plan. OK? Get the ebook…it will help.

You are almost there,

Ahmad

Are You Freaking Kidding Me?

THESE ARE NOTES FROM MY BUDDY CHARITY…SHE SHARED SOME OF HER DAY TO DAY LIFE WITH US..~ahmad

CHARITY4-21-09

Okay so it’s day 2 of the 7 day diet and it was a definite strain to get out of bed this morning at my usual 5am. I got up around 5:18am and I was not sore it was just I was tired, ( I mean who isn’t tired at 5am, come on, LOL). Any way moving on to the good stuff.  I went in the kitchen and ate some celery and then took my usual 3 hydroxycuts  and went downstairs to my workout room, (that’s right folks I have my own workout room which is a very motivating factor for me). I did my navy seals ab workout, but I did not do one of the makingthebest clip workouts because I was kind of tired and I wanted to exert all my energy on the treadmill.

This is when I blew myself away. Yesterday morning I worked out for 82 minutes on the treadmill and burned 860 calories. Today I worked out for 84 minutes and burned 1100 calories and 5.7 miles. Go me! I plan to workout for lunch today and I want to burn 500 calories in 30 minutes.  I only burned 400 calories yesterday in 30 minutes. I am determined to get this weight off. How many of you think I can get 20 lbs off by next Friday? I do.
